It is clear that the Ozone Reo has always been one of the best wave kites. Yet Ozone has not been sleeping and has given the new V6 Reo a big upgrade. The Ozone Reo V6 now has a new type of ripstop: triple ripstop. A new type of canopy has a lot of influence on the flying characteristics of a kite. Triple ripstop is stiffer than the double ripstop previously used in the Reo. A stiffer cloth means a faster and smoother steering kite. As a result, the Reo V6 has more performance than ever. The coating of the cloth has also been updated, the new advanced flex coating ensures that the Ozone Reo V6 lasts longer and remains in good condition.

Because every spot and every wave is different, you can easily adapt the Ozone Reo V6 to any circumstance using the Variable Bridle Geometry (VBG). The VBG uses two settings: offshore and onshore. The setting is easy to set by adjusting just one knot of your bridle.

If you opt for the offshore setting, the Reo V6 is a bit further to the edge of the wind window when it flies depowered, the Reo V6 then drifts super easily with you when you are surfing down the line.
If you opt for onshore, the Reo V6 does exactly what you want with onshore wind. The bar pressure will increase slightly so that you will still have that direct feeling when you surf towards the shore on a wave. Even if you like a kite with more bar pressure, this could be the best setting for you.

Not only by means of the VBG you can set the Ozone Reo V6 exactly the way you want. You can also opt for more or less bar pressure and a more direct or less direct steering input on the steering line attachment at the tip of the Reo V6. The combination of the VBG and this 'tip-tune' setting ensures that you can set the Ozone Reo V6 exactly to your wishes.

Because you probably send your kite into the water during your wave ride session, the Ozone Reo V6 has a super fast and easy relaunch. So that you are gone before the next set hits. And maybe your kite is caught by a wave, or it hits the water hard. That is why Ozone has applied various reinforcements to the Reo V6, such as an extra strong trailing edge, reinforced LE and Load Distribution panels. All this ensures the strongest possible kite in the lightest possible weight.
