HighlightsB-SAFE SYSTEM
 TX-LIGHT SINGLE SKIN CONCEPT
 DRIFTING ABILITY

FeaturesTX-Light Single Skin Concept
The single skin concept has high buoyancy profiles and a very efficient depower. Reducing its weight to a minimum brings advantages in terms of stability, drift and light wind handling. Single skins allow the use of our B-Safe system and absorb hard impacts. The excellent longevity of these kites is not only due to the concept but by their material. High ageing and tear resistance, three ripstop threads and enormous rigidity at only 33g / m² make the TX-Light the perfect fabric. The leading edge consists of 44g / m² DLX+ cloth, protects against abrasion and sharp-edged objects. Every material optimizes a specific area of the kite. We use UV-resistant surfaces and airtight coatings to absorbent properties to improve airflow when wet.
 Hybrid Wingtip Technology
The Hybrid Wingtip Technology consists of two self-inflating cells on each side of the kite. The openings are protected with mesh material to prevent the entry of snow or dirt. Both wingtips have our proven drainage system. The more efficient aerodynamics allow for tighter turning with constant pull, as well as increased backstall resistance. Through that, the wingtip is only flapping when you depower the kite. The bar feedback is considerably improved. The kite feels sporty and gives you a confidence-inspiring feeling.
 B-Safe System
The B-Safe System is a (extra optional Y-) line configuration that slides along the B-level through eyelets. After activating the quick release, the bar moves 4 m up on the 5th line. The kite is reefed horizontally in the middle and reduces the wing span to a minimum. The kite comes down gently and flags out. After reactivating the quick release system, you can launch the kite through the power zone. The B-Safe System is ideal for self-landing or for taking breaks.
 Camber Trim System
Bridle levels of the kite are controlled by the mixer, a pulley system which modulates the angle of attack and the profile camber. The mixer features the two-ring camber trim system. Moving the rings changes the relationship between the B or C level relative to the A level. The profile of the foil kite can be trimmed to be either flat or curved.

What is the difference between the X-Light cloth of the PEAK4 and the TX-Light cloth of the PEAK5?
The following attributes have changed: increased tear resistance, improved diagonal tensile strength, triple Ripstop, soft and hard finish coatings, 33g / m².
What does TX-cloth bring for an advantage in bar feeling?
With the single skin, the advantages of the TX-Light do not affect the bar feeling.
 Has the safety system changed?
The B-Safe system has proven itself and has not been changed from its predecessor.
Can I use the CONNECT1 Control Bar with the PEAK5?
Yes, the FLYSURFER CONNECT1 and CONNECT2 Control Bars are the recommended products to fly a PEAK5. Both control bars fully support the B-Safe System.
Can I attach very short flying lines to my PEAK5 without safety system restrictions?
Yes, you can attach very short lines to the PEAK5 without safety system restrictions. We have designed and tested this product on 14 m and 21 m flying lines. The use of custom made lines and flying line lengths is not recommended and can cause misfunctions.
Can I attach a 4 line control bar with a single frontline safety system to the PEAK5?
Yes, the PEAK can be flown with Single Frontline Safety. The 4-line control bar must have flying lines of the same length and at least a 3 m release path.
How much does the PEAK5 weigh in comparison to the PEAK4?
The difference is marginal, but the PEAK5 has superior longevity, due to the TX-Light cloth and reduced flapping. In numbers the PEAK5 is 0,11 kg or 0,24 lb lighter.
 What is the mixer?
The mixer is a pulley system that modulates the bridle levels of a foil kite with different ratios. The Camber Trim System for adjusting the levels is located above the integrated pulleys. Below the pulleys are the front and back main lines connecting to the control bar's flying lines.
What does the camber trim system change?
The Camber Trim System changes the angle of attack and the profile camber. Moving the rings changes the ratio between the B or C level relative to the A level. The profile of the foil kite can be trimmed to be either flat or curved.
My PEAK back stalls, what can I do?
The trim procedure always starts with the bar setup check. All four flying lines must have equal length or need to be brought to the same level when the control bar is sheeted in. After a successful bar setup check, the C and B levels of the SOUL can be lengthened with the Camber Trim System.
My PEAK tends to front stall, what can I do?
The trim procedure always starts with the bar setup check. All four flying lines must have equal length or need to be brought to the same level when the control bar is sheeted in. After a successful bar setup check, the C and B levels of the SOUL can be tightened with the Camber Trim System.
Can I land the PEAK myself?
The PEAK5 can be landed yourself with the help of the B-Safe system or the add-on product Snowkite Breakline of the CONNECT2 Control Bar.
Does the PEAK sink as soon as it hits the water?
It's inevitable that the kite will sink slightly below the water surface. Depending on circumstances, the PEAK can lie in the water for a short period of time and then be relaunched.
